Talley have developed a continually improving, vertically integrated manufacturing base in Hampshire, where they design, tool, manufacture and support their range of pressure relieving, limb compression and negative pressure wound therapy devices.
As an ISO9000 compliant business and employing selected lean manufacturing techniques, Talley utilises the latest 3D modeling CAD design software and CNC metal forming machines to bring its product concepts in to reality.
Continually investing in state of the art production machinery enables Talley to produce products to order, with minimal order lead times. Their philosophy is to use a myriad of common components throughout the range, thus reducing expensive inventories and ensuring that product manufacturing costs are kept to a minimum. This results in their customers not being required to pay for any inefficiency.
C.E.O Chris Evans stated;
We have no plans to follow the growing trend of relocating manufacturing to supposedly lower cost overseas sites. We consider this to be a very short term as control of quality and supply are lost as a consequence, something which we believe our competitors are finding to their detriment.
As we continue our growth we will make more UK based manufacturing investment, including jobs and plant and machinery. This coupled with our excellent national and international service levels and dedicated service facilities throughout the UK is something which will help our customers more as we continue to grow our market share.
