Talley announce negative pressure wound therapy developments
Posted: Tuesday, June 5th, 2007
Talley Group Ltd has today announced a clear intention to remain firmly in the negative pressure wound therapy market by developing their own product range.
Operations Manager Kevin Mearns stated;
We enjoyed our association with Blue Sky and this last year has seen us develop a clear understanding of the customer needs for cost effective clinically proven negative pressure wound therapy solutions. We have had a number of clinical studies published looking at an alternative approach and with our existing technology and over fifty years experience it proves we are ideally placed to deliver the products our customers have been asking us for.
The new power unit and canister will be designed specifically to provide negative pressure wound therapy using the latest technologies, 3D modeling CAD software, advanced surface mount electronics and incorporate new unique features and benefits.
CEO Chris Evans added;
We were the first company in the UK to take the step and introduce an alternative to available negative pressure wound therapy, this has given us a huge advantage and now we look to launch the next generation of products.
I have deployed all available resources to ensure a seamless transition from our existing negative pressure wound therapy products and development of the new product range will take priority. With our experience I am confident we will once again deliver state of the art reliable products that will provide real savings to the NHS.
