Talley Medical announce international launch of the new Venturi Compact NPWT

Talley Medical are pleased to announce the International launch of it’s next generation Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System, Venturi Compact. Following the international success of the Venturi™ system the new Venturi™ Compact has been designed and built at the companies headquarters in Romsey Hampshire UK and will be exhibited at the following events;
- 12 th EPUAP Meeting. Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 3th to 5th September 2009.
- 10th Scottish Woundcare Conference. Glasgow, Scotland.10th September 2009.
- Wound Expo 2009. Manchester, UK. 15th to 16th September 2009.
- SAWC Fall. Washington, DC USA. 16th to 18th September 2009.
- Clinical Symposium on the Advances in Skin & Wound Care. San Antonio, Texas, USA. 21st to 25th October 2009.
- Wounds UK. Harrogate, UK. 9th to 11th November 2009.
- Medica. Dusseldorf, Germany. 18th to 21st November 2009.
Incorporating the same features and benefits as the existing Venturi™ system including dual power technology, integral batteries, soft touch buttons and easy to read LCD screens, continuous or intermittent therapy functions, advanced predictive low vacuum warning, auto lockout function, canister full alarm, dressing leak and low pressure alarms, blocked tube alarm, tilt alarm and fitted with 300ml integral sealed canister incorporating solidifying granules, hydrophobic and carbon bacterial filters the Venturi Compact is smaller and lighter, weighing less than 1kg.

Since the initial launch of the Venturi™ and with our experience in the worldwide NPWT market we have been listening and consulting with clinicains to design this smaller unit packed with the features that have proven the clinical benefits and effectiveness of this system.
