TECcare Ultra is a rapid environmental cold sterilant, it’s sporicidal, viricidal, bactericidal and fungicidal activity combined with an exceptional safety profile make it an Ultra High Level surface cold sterilant that is safe to use on all surfaces. The product has true sporicidal, activity achieving total elimination of spores.
Many technologies that claim to kill C-difficile spores have been tested using dilution protocols and claim efficacy against the vegetative form of the organism. The vegetative form is not the organism of concern for infection control processes. C. difficile spores have the ability to remain viable for months on contaminated surfaces. In addition, products effective against only the vegetative form could spread the spores and increase the possibility of infection.
Additional comprehensive testing showed that the product is also highly effective against a broad range of microorganisms including Swine flu (H1N1), Noro Virus, Polio Virus, Human Influenza A (H1N1) Staphylococcus aureus Methicillin Resistant (MRSA), Community associated Staphylococcus aureus Methicillin Resistant (CA-MRSA), Enterococcus faecium (Vancomycin Resistant - VRE), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Tetracycline Resistant) Enterococcus faecium (Vancomycin Resistant - VRE), Escherichia coli (Tetracycline Resistant), Streptococcus pneumonia (Penicillin Resistant) along with a range of moulds and fungi.

TECcare Ultra will be used as a rapid environmental cold sterilant and as part of TECcare Ultra Fogging (TUF) antimicrobial technology which is ideally suited for use in facilities due to its extensive, proven biological efficacy and safety credentials. TUF decontamination can be deployed easily and safely and has proven material compatibility so all surfaces and environments can be decontaminated safely without the risks associated with using traditional hydrogen peroxide vapour, formaldehyde or chlorine-based products (including bleach). Once the equipment is set up the decontamination process starts remotely. TECcare Ultra diffuses into the area and engulfs all exposed surfaces and penetrates hidden areas and fabric items. TUF will fill areas very quickly, and penetrate into places that are traditionally difficult to reach. By using TUF all of the walls, the doors and doorframes, the windows, the floor, the ceiling, the room contents, soft furnishings including fabrics and upholstery as well as behind radiators and in air conditioning ducts can be treated automatically, with no additional chemicals and in a very short timescale reducing the cost, time and range of chemicals required to decontaminate large rooms and their contents.
