Busy at home and abroad

January has seen our team working tirelessly to establish the new Negative Pressure Wound Therapy contract across Wales. Our VENTURI NPWT systems were selected as the product of choice for the Welsh NPWT contract and we are delighted to be supplying our VENTURI systems which have a long and established history of providing clinically excellent, cost effective advanced wound therapy.

Our Winter Pressures bed frame and mattress rental campaign continues to be successful with numerous NHS Trusts across the UK taking the opportunity for short term product rentals to meet the increased demand for available beds as winter continues to bite at hospitals across the UK.

With recent data from NHS England reporting that over 5,000 beds have been closed due to norovirus outbreaks, we are delighted to announce that we will continue to run this campaign until the end of March.

On the subject of norovirus, now may be a useful time to remind you that our TECcare PROTECT hand sanitiser is highly effective against norovirus - unlike many alcohol-based hand rubs which have little if any effect against viruses.

This week also sees us attending the first exhibition of the year with our International Operations team manning the Talley stand at Arab Health in Dubai. This is the first of many exhibitions that we are attending this year so please see the ‘events’ page on our website for the full list of where and when we will be exhibiting during the first half of this year.
