Talley Medical targets new markets with appointment of Russian distributor

While the Western European economy continues to labour through the financial constraints of the global downturn, Talley Medical continues to enjoy new international business development and is maintaining its structured growth into new territories.  After already forging new partnerships in South Africa and India this year, the company is pleased to announce the latest exciting development and appointment of a new Russian distributor – Nienschanz.

Based in St Petersburg, but with coverage across the whole of the Russian Federation, the Nienschanz Group of Companies was founded over 20 years ago and boasts a workforce that is 1200 people strong.  The medical division Alpha Mobili celebrated its tenth anniversary this year and works hard to source only the highest quality medical products.  They represent a wide range of products but are particularly focused on hospital furniture and it became clear during the early stages of discussion that there was an excellent fit with the Talley range of products.

Paul Hoff, International Sales Manager at Talley Medical observed,

In the past, such markets would not have been focused on importing our high quality products, but it is pleasing to note that customers worldwide are recognising the value of investing in quality, and appreciate the benefits of reduced servicing and the lower overall life costs associated with such reliable and long lasting equipment. Our success is due to continued investment focusing on quality, value, and innovation. With the global market place for medical equipment becoming more competitive and many companies switching research, development and production overseas to save costs we have continued to invest in UK manufacturing, developing and producing world leading medical devices

Talley Medical is a fully vertically integrated UK manufacturing organisation whose products are designed, developed and produced at its Hampshire headquarters.  The company will once again be exhibiting at the Medica global trade fair in Dusseldorf in November (Hall 14, Stand B30), and will undoubtedly be looking for further expansion into new export markets in 2012 and beyond.
