Features

  • QUATTRO THERAPY - clinically proven pressure relief, lower interface pressures and enhanced comfort.

During the 1-in-4 Active cell cycle the patient is supported on at least 75% of the mattress surface at all times whilst the pressure on 25%
of the body is relieved. This provides a higher level of comfort and lower average support pressures compared to 2 or 3 cell cycle systems, together with increased patient compliance.

  • DEEP CELL THERAPY - support pressures of 30mmHg or less

The unique design of the air cell in combination with the 24cm deep mattress and QUATTRO THERAPY allows for extremely low interface pressures in the inflated cells. Whilst providing pressure relief during the Active cycle, pressures in the supporting cells are significantly lower than industry standard with interface pressures of less than 30mmHg throughout 100% of the cycle. Furthermore, the Deep Cell design is proven to benefit patients in relation to comfort and sleep disturbance.

  • AUTOsupport - fully automatic pressure adjustment.

AUTOsupport feature automatically adjusts pressure within each of the cells throughout the cycle so that support, posture and therapy are constantly maintained at optimum levels, in response to patient weight, movement and position. Equalisation of cell pressure automatically takes place at each stage of the cycle, again to ensure precise pressure and therapy is applied.

  • Continuous Low Pressure Therapy - optimum pressure distribution.

When in Continuous Low Pressure therapy mode pressure is equalised within the cells, allowing greater immersion into the mattress surface and optimum pressure distribution.

  • TISSUEgard air cell technology

The unique patented TISSUEgard air cell design features a pleated surface giving up to 15% additional support area, allowing the patient to immerse into the mattress, virtually eliminating lateral tension in the mattress surface. This results in reduced pressures, shear and friction, the key contributory factors to tissue damage, and alleviates the need for a dedicated heel zone.

  • ODS cell design for optimum patient support and security

Air cells feature ortho-differential support (ODS) which provides optimum internal cell pressures for varying body weights and shapes, automatically compensating for the patient’s BMI.  Narrower in the centre than at the outer edge, air cells feature in-built support pressure differential, supporting the smaller, lighter patient on the softer central area of the cell, and the larger, heavier patient on the firmer outer edges, as well as providing a feeling of security for the patient.

  • Our range of patient care products feature a variety of benefits which are tailored for patients depending on their care environment i.e. hospital
  • Our range of patient care products feature a variety of benefits which are tailored for patients depending on their care environment i.e. care home
  • A mattress replacement system is intended to be used in place of the existing bed mattress
  • Dynamic surfaces for patients at very high risk are also suitable for managing existing pressure damage
  • Dual therapy modes - Active 1-in-4 cycle or Continuous Low Pressure
  • DEEP CELL THERAPY support pressures of 30mmHg or less. The unique design of the air cell in combination with the 24cm deep mattress and QUATTRO THERAPY allows for extremely low interface pressures in the inflated cells
  • AUTOsupport feature automatically adjusts pressure within each of the cells throughout the cycle so that support, posture and therapy are constantly maintained at optimum levels, in response to patient weight, movement and position
  • Low air loss feature reduces humidity and helps maintain the patient's skin at ambient temperature
  • Adjustable comfort control allows the carer to adjust the control setting in either therapy mode to help patient compliance
  • PHASE FLOW pressure control pump operates on demand only, reducing power consumption, noise and extending service life
  • Audible and visual system status/fault indicators
  • Flush-fitting simple and effective rapid deflation valve removes air from the mattress to enable CPR procedures
  • Necessary for some nursing procedures, the maximum inflation mode inflates the mattress to maximum static pressure for a set period of time before returning to previous mode of operation
  • Patient transport facility allows unpowered support of patient during transfers or during times of power failure
  • Vapour-permeable, waterproof, two way stretch cover
  • Welded cover seams to reduce the risk of ingestion of fluids and contamination of interior
  • Fully machine washable, the entire mattress can withstand the thermal disinfection washing procedures described in the Department of Health Circular HSG(95)18
  • Cable management facility on mattress
  • Repairable/Serviceable on site
  • Available for daily rental
