The QUATTRO AUTOCURA is a fully automatic, zoned mattress replacement system with dual therapy modes, designed for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers for very high risk patients.

Features

  • AUTOzone - fully automatic zonal pressure adjustment and regulation.

    The mattress comprises a combination of static supporting lower cell sections distributed over 6 independent zones, with the upper cell sections featuring a choice of Active 1-in-4 cell or Continuous Low Pressure therapy modes.  The supporting air cells feature sophisticated AUTOzone technology detecting the patient’s weight range and load distribution and automatically adopting optimum support pressures accordingly. Cell pressures are then monitored throughout the cycle, automatically adjusting zonally in response to patient movement or change of posture, e.g. from lying down to sitting or being positioned on their side.

    Air pressure is also adjusted within the upper therapy cell sections throughout the cycle so that support, posture and therapy are constantly maintained at optimum levels, in response to patient weight, movement and position. Equalisation of cell pressure automatically takes place at each stage of the cycle, again to ensure precise pressure and therapy is applied. The supporting zonal cells can also be individually adjusted to allow for any specific anatomical requirements.

  • QUATTRO THERAPY - clinically proven pressure relief, lower interface pressures and enhanced comfort.

    During the 1-in-4 Active cell cycle the patient is supported on at least 75% of the mattress surface at all times whilst the pressure on 25% of the body is relieved. This provides a higher level of comfort and lower average support pressures compared to 2 or 3 cell cycle systems, together with increased patient compliance.

  • Continuous Low Pressure Therapy - optimum pressure distribution.

    When in Continuous Low Pressure therapy mode pressure is equalised within the cells, allowing greater immersion into the mattress surface and optimum pressure distribution.

  • DEEP CELL THERAPY - support pressures of 30mmHg or less.

    The unique design of the air cell in combination with the 24cm deep mattress and QUATTRO THERAPY allows for extremely low interface pressures in the inflated cells. Whilst providing pressure relief during the Active cycle, pressures in the supporting cells are significantly lower than industry standard with interface pressures of less than 30mmHg throughout 100% of the cycle.  Furthermore, the Deep Cell design is proven to benefit patients in relation to comfort and sleep disturbance.
