Launching our winter pressures bed frame and mattress offers

As a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 has been unlike any year that healthcare providers have previously experienced, and with the UK currently in its second national lockdown, none of us can accurately predict the pressures or strains that the NHS are going to be faced with this coming Winter.

During any ‘normal’ Winter season the NHS will experience significant surge capacity pressures on its available beds as seasonal flu and norovirus impact a health service that typically runs at bed occupancy levels in excess of the maximum 85% occupancy recommended to maintain patient safety standards.

The result is that many healthcare providers reach full capacity and the only solution to ease the pressure is to temporarily open up additional beds to help absorb the impact of increasing patient admissions, and to reduce the infection risk posed by high bed occupancy rates.

To help healthcare providers temporarily increase capacity this coming Winter Talley Group are delighted to launch our Bed Frame and Mattress Surge Capacity Winter Offers which run through until January 31^st, 2021.

To help meet this transient demand for increased beds this winter our bedframes and mattresses are available across the UK and our dedicated team of service engineers and technicians will ensure delivery within 48 hours of the order being placed.

‘During the winter we needed to ease the pressure on the Trust’s bed capacity by opening an additional, temporary, 24 bedded ward.

Talley stepped into the breach and supplied 24 beds, at minimal notice. The beds arrived as planned on the 21^st December and they were unloaded, electrically safety tested and delivered into the bed spaces by a very efficient Talley team, who also delivered training to the Ward staff upon completion of delivery.

The beds surpassed all our expectation and after a much appreciated, 3-month rental period the pressure had subsided and the beds were no longer required. The Talley team removed them in the same equally efficiently manner that they arrived.

Should we find ourselves in such a situation again, we wouldn’t have any concerns with looking to Talley to help us out once more.’
